1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the City Sports Frederick Saver App, website at citysportsfrederick.org, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

City Sports Frederick is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Frederick, Maryland.

2. Membership

City Sports Frederick offers annual memberships at $30/year that provide access to exclusive discounts at participating local businesses. By purchasing a membership:

• You confirm you are 18 years of age or older
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during signup
• You understand that membership fees are non-refundable unless required by law
• You understand that 100% of your membership fee supports youth sports programs in Frederick County
• Your membership is personal and non-transferable

3. Business Partner Terms

Businesses participating in the City Sports Frederick platform agree to:

• Honor the discount or offer listed in the app for all valid City Sports Frederick members
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date business information
• Not discriminate against members in the redemption of offers
• Professional Services partners ($100/year or $10/month) understand their fees go directly to the City Sports Frederick Scholarship Fund
• City Sports Frederick reserves the right to remove businesses that do not honor their offers

4. SMS Text Messaging Terms

By checking the SMS opt-in box during membership signup, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from City Sports Frederick at the phone number provided. You understand that:

• Consent is not a condition of purchase
• You can opt out at any time by replying STOP
• Standard message and data rates may apply
• We will not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes
• Messages may include new business deals, coupon updates, and community announcements

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share your membership credentials with others
• Attempt to circumvent or abuse the coupon/discount system
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Use automated tools to access the Service

6. Disclaimers

City Sports Frederick makes no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or completeness of business offers listed in the app. Business offers are subject to change at the discretion of participating businesses. City Sports Frederick is not responsible for disputes between members and businesses regarding offer redemption.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, City Sports Frederick shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your membership in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the City Sports Frederick platform, including logos, text, images, and software, is the property of City Sports Frederick and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Termination

City Sports Frederick reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Members who violate these Terms are not entitled to a refund of membership fees.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Frederick County, Maryland.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
